Jyoti, from Bhaliya village in Kakori, began her sports journey in September 2021 while she was in college. At just 16, she joined Indian Baaz Sports Academy (IBSA), a step that changed her life. Coming from a small village with limited exposure to sports, she never imagined she could achieve success in martial arts. But with the constant support and guidance of her Guru ji and Ma’am ji, she slowly built confidence and skills through regular training.
In the same year she joined, Jyoti participated in competitions and won her first Gold Medal, a proud milestone that strengthened her belief in herself. Over time, she continued training and improving, gaining experience through tournaments and disciplined practice. Her journey at IBSA shaped not only her athletic ability but also her mindset, teaching her resilience, focus, and self-belief.
Today, Jyoti is proud to be an Assistant Coach and Core Team Member at IBSA, guiding students on the same path she once started as a beginner. She considers herself a true IBSA product, someone who learned, grew, and now gives back. Her story reflects how opportunity, mentorship, and dedication can transform a young girl’s life. She now encourages others to join IBSA and build a stronger, brighter future through sports.
